《我在卡夫卡商店當學徒》是一部回憶錄。作者回憶了自1892年起在卡夫卡父親赫爾曼•卡夫卡位於布拉格的服飾用品商店（即卡夫卡家裏）近三年的學徒生涯。作為一個敏銳的觀察者, 作者以鮮活的語言書寫記憶，細緻精微地描述了卡夫卡的成長經歷、家庭情況、商店的日常生活以及社會整體環境。
弗蘭基謝克•科•巴士克（1878—1963），捷克郵票鑒定專家。在讀完小學和市民中學之後，巴士克於1892年進入赫爾曼•卡夫卡在布拉格的紡織用品商店當學徒，1895年出徒，此後，曾任會計、推銷員、廠長。徐偉珠，譯者，北京外國與大學捷克語專業副教授，出版譯著《洪水之後》《終極親密》《嚴密監視的列車》（獲2018年第七屆“魯迅文學獎”翻譯獎提名），2019年被捷克外交部授予揚·馬薩裏克銀質獎章，捷克總統澤曼頒授“一級貢獻勳章”，表彰其為捷中關係發展和捷克文化傳播做出的突出貢獻。
